The shine on the pearl is captivating and to retain its shine and beauty proper care and cleaning is required. ·         As pearls are organic matter they should not be cleaned with any alcoholic solutions, it gets damaged by it.

·         Ornaments made of pearls should be kept away from any kind of chemical like perfume, vinegar; as pearl absorbs it and becomes shine less.

·         You should keep your pearls ornaments apart from the rest, wrapped in soft cloth or cotton as it can get scratched easily by other metals.

·         After wearing a pearl ornament you should clean it with smooth lint-free piece of cloth. If they get dirty they should be cleaned with simple water.

·         Heat can turn pearl jewelry yellowish and can make them break so they should be kept away from direct heat.
